The image above briefly explains about the levels of which students will progress.

There are many different levels when it comes to this syllabus. Much like Malaysian's Pelaksanaan Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah (KSSM) and Pelaksanaan Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah (KSSR), Cambridge Syllabus offers basic as well as optional subjects. Naturally, we in Genesis Excel Academy provides the same subjects as listed below.
Upper Secondary, or IGCSE Subjects, are categorised into Core, Elective I, Elective II, and Elective III as shown in the table below.
The minimum required subjects taken for IGCSE is 5. All subjects under Core Subjects are compulsory subjects. Students will be advised to choose either Elective I or Elective II. At least two subjects must be chosen under the respective Elective subjects.  Elective III subjects are completely optional.

At GEA, our primary minimum age is at 6 years old.

Yes, it is possible. We have had proven success with students who managed to complete 2 level of educations within a year.

It is normal for students to graduate high school earlier comparatively with KSSM program. It is a norm in most countries like UK, US etc. It will be an advantage for them to enter the higher education or even the labor market early or even the opportunity taking their time to explore their interests before stepping into tertiary education.
Our teachers will provide an earlier evaluation and necessary guidance to determine whether your child could make the leap into the next level.

Our framework were structured after an in depth analysis and crafted specially to ensure it geared towards outstanding achievements. It does not over drained neither does it lacking. However, it takes two to tango.

Yes. GEA has varieties of extracurricular activities such as presentation, painting classes, and even outdoor sports! We do arrange for community tournaments, eg: Futsal and Badminton matches. Such activities would facilitate and nurture social skills on top of boosting their self-esteem and confidence which are not taught directly in their academic books.

Heads up! Take note that some activities may require some fees such as court or equipment rentals

Your child will receive assignments and homework post-class to work based on areas of improvement that teachers have identified during class or from marking your child’s work. You will also receive a comprehensive report on your child’s progress at the end of each term, along with a sit-down session with the teachers.

In general, GEA's intake is on every January and September. We do accept enrolment all year round and your child will be guided along the way. Just drop us a visit or call us for more details.

GEA's term break will be similar to Malaysia school holidays. You may refer to our academic calendar which we will provide upon successful enrolment.

We will observe Malaysian National Public holidays and Malaysia school holidays. It may subject to changes. You may refer to our academic calendar which we will provide upon successful enrolment.

First Language English (FEL) is designed for those who have English as their mother tongue, or possess advanced proficiency in the language. Thus, it goes without saying that the subject is exponentially harder when compared to English as a Second Language (ESL). FEL relies heavily on the student’s writing ability, critical thinking, and last but not least, speaking articulately.

Keep in mind that choosing either FEL or ESL bears no consequences in their university application. However, if you still have questions for this matter, feel free to contact us for more clarification.

We offer the following IGCSE subjects as it has the highest request from parents and students.

5 subjects are more than enough for majority application into most local tertiary education. Hence, depending on what pre-university courses your child decides upon, we will suggest suitable subjects accordingly. Overseas universities do require different types of requirements. As such, feel free to contact us for further details in order for us to assist in clarifying.
